Mariposa Folk Festival is a volunteer-driven event that can only be staged with hundreds of wonderful people generously donating their time. Our volunteer crew is known for its exceptional professionalism and civic contribution, and we are always looking for new people to join the team. Festival dates are July 7-9, 2023 Please Note: All volunteers must read our Accessible Customer Service Guide and our Code of Conduct Policy. Mariposa volunteers work a minimum of 12 hours during the 3 days of the festival. There is an orientation/training session to learn about your job and meet your team lead and other volunteers. For contributing your time, Mariposa Folk Festival volunteers receive free admission to the festival as well as a souvenir Mariposa Volunteer t-shirt. Volunteer Camping. Once you have received your volunteer acceptance email, you are eligible for a discounted rate for festival camping.
