Champlain Seniors Service Club Orillia

Our Mandate and Purpose reads: The CSSC is an association of retired and semi retired men of the Orillia area who subscribe to the ideals of benevolence, loyalty, community service and good citizenship. We do not do any direct fundraising. We donate our Volunteer Time to our community for a variety of events and causes – such as Kiwanis Musica Festival, Canadian Cancer Society, Helping Hands, Canada Day Festival, Orillia Heart & Stroke, Orillia Scottish Festival and many others.

Positions Available

NOW WELCOMING NEW MEMBERS!!! This is a Seniors Service Club who not only donate their volunteering time but also enjoy regular meetings and activities as set out below:

Our Tuesday morning meetings (held weekly from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Royal Canadian Legion, 215 Mississauga Street East, Orillia) are highlighted by interesting speakers and our own members presenting useful and interesting information.

Our in-house band, the Champlain MusicMakers, and our Choir entertain with familiar sing-along tunes and all are encouraged to join in the fun.

Throughout the year, the members organize special social events such as Ladies’ Days, a Christmas Lunch, BBQs and Theatre Coach Trips for members and spouses/partners.

Come to your First Meeting as a Guest. Just walk in before 9:30 and say “I want to be a guest today”. Join us for a coffee or tea and see firsthand what we are all about.

Event activites for which we donate our time include Tag Days, Fundraising Auctions, Christmas Kettles, School Breakfasts, Food Drives and more.
