  • November 8th – Gagagnoonin: An Evening of Conversation and Music held at St. Paul’s Centre starting at 6:30 P.M. Featuring artists Red N Blue, Shawn Corbierre, and Jenn Brunelle, with special guests Savanna Jamieson and Parker Beedie, as well as storytelling by John Rice. Everyone is welcome.
  • November 12th – the Rama Police Service is partnering with the Indigenous Policing Bureau of the OPP to host a Human Trafficking Awareness session from 4-6 P.M at Rama Community Hall (5950 Rama Road). The session will provide information on human trafficking with topics such as emerging trends in our region, warning signs, targeting tactics, police response, and victim support services. Dinner will follow the presentations.
  • November 16th – The Ontario SPCA is holding a free pet vaccination clinic from 12-3 P.M. at Creative Nomad Studios.
  • November 16th – Join the Tree of Hope Ceremony and tree lighting from 6:15-7 P.M. at the Front Circle outside the OPP General Headquarters to help commemorate missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people.
  • November 17th – Information Orillia is hosting a Seniors Volunteer Fair held at the Orillia Public Library under the Age-Friendly Peer Support program. We invite you to come join us from 1:30-3:30 in the program room and discover Orillia’s not-for-profit organizations that rely on the good nature of residents like you to help serve our community.
  • November 22nd – is Orillia’s Santa Claus Parade. Starting on Colborne St. West at 5 P.M., the parade will continue down onto Mississaga St. East and end at 7 P.M. at the intersection of Front St. North & Queen St. East. Check out the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce for more.
  • November 26th – is Information Orillia’s Fraud Prevention Workshop. As the third event under the Age-Friendly Peer Support Program, we invite you to the Orillia Public Library between 2 and 4 P.M. to learn how to identify, report, and prevent fraud. Stay after the event for a bonus presentation on passwords and safety from the Orillia & District Literacy Board.
  • December 1st – St. James Anglican Church presents St. Nick’s Children’s Shopping Day. Drop in between 10 A.M. and 12 P.M. and an “elf” will help kids under 12 shop for presents. All items are $3 or less.
